Food Pantry
At our Casselberry location Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 3:30 pm or afternoon shift 12:00pm -3:30pm

  • Sort incoming food
  • Fill food orders for clients with whom you will have direct contact
  • Compassionate and sensitive to clients and their needs
  • Able to work well with others
  • Able to commit to at least one day a week
Training is provided and volunteer will report to Amie.

Job Fair Volunteers
Be a job fair parking lot attendant or help us inside the pavilion during the event.

Employment Counselor
At our Casselberry location Tuesday-Friday (On-going) 9:00-2:30

  • Meet with clients one on one and guide them in their job searches
  • Offer spiritual encouragement to clients
  • Identify and discern areas in the life of the client that need work to get them to a place where they would be successful at searching for, acquiring and maintaining a job and connect them with the needed resources to guide them in this process
  • Able to connect with clients at their level and discern their needs
  • Acute listening and strong communication skills
  • Excellent computer and internet skills
  • Has a strong faith and is willing and able to pray with clients and share the Gospel as the opportunities arise
We provide initial, on-going and hands-on training which involves shadowing experienced counselors and / or the Director of Counseling.

This could be Monday’s and Friday’s, but will be determined by the need, availability of counselors and the cooperation of host ministries. UPC’s operation hours are 9-4pm, but this role would operate independently of their schedule. Days could be split between two counselors if they are available. The employment counselor is responsible to take ownership of their selected timeframes.

We provide initial, on-going and hands-on training which involves shadowing experienced counselors and / or the Director of Counseling and making use of the available tools such as computer programs, food assistance procedures, reference material, and the online Job BoardChristian HELP. Volunteer will report to the Satellite Liaison.
