Christian HELP/CFEC held their third
Free Employment Seminar for
Job Seekers
in Central Florida.
We are calling these events "Re-Charge and
Re-Energize
your Job Search". Our media sponsor, WESH 2, had their talent Gail Paschall
Brown give a dynamic opening. Attendees were engaged, taking notes,
grateful, & encouraged. Here is just one of the many comments we received
afterwards: "I just wanted to let you know that I am so happy I attended the
Job Seminar, I learned a lot and got a lot of useful information and help
from all of you. I have been out of work for quite some time now and had
never heard of these Seminars (thank God for

my Pastor). Tonight I am
excited and encouraged about my job search. Thanks again and have a blessed
night." We believe God is calling us to continue presenting these events as
another way to outreach into the community and help Central Florida's Job
Seekers.

A Christmas Wish Come True
A single mom lost her job this year, after the hotel she worked for was
torn down. She was surviving by doing odd side jobs here and there. She came
to Christian HELP for assistance with her job search.
After speaking with her counselor about her job needs, the counselor asked
her about Christmas since she had children in her household. She did not
know how she would be able to provide toys for her children since she wasn't
able to make ends meet.
The good news was this Mom's family was selected through the Christmas Adoption program.
The great news is, after the Adopter read her essay, she called a few of her friends and
contacts and was able to offer this Single mom a Full-Time job with a hotel!
Our prayer at Christian HELP is that everyone in need of help, will also
have a happy ending, like this family had.
Your donations, toys, sponsorships and Christmas Adoption help keep the
Merry in Merry Christmas for families, who would go without, if it wasn't
for your generosity.
