We are operating under Seminole County's executive order. Face coverings are mandatory and social distancing regulations are being enforced in and out of our buildings.

Christian HELP remains open to serve those in need with
  • employment services for job seekers of any kind
  • a variety of groceries
  • resources, referrals and connections
  • encouragement and prayer

These services prevent homelessness and empower family independence and are needed now, more than ever.
We have adapted the ways in which services are delivered to protect both the

giver and receiver.
Lines of people in need of assistance, hope and solutions come to our door

each day.
Your investment in our work, is an investment in others.

Please help us respond to your neighbors during the pandemic.

COVID-19, The Community, & Christian HELP

Christian HELP has always reduced hunger – provided hope and helped people find jobs. We still believe that employment is the best way to prevent homelessness and empower family independence. Sadly, with unemployment now 22.9% in our tri-county region, we are seeing a growing number of job seekers in need of our services and we anticipate our client base to continue to rise.

We also expect a continued rise in the need for groceries as unemployment and reduced incomes warrants a shortage of resources for people to provide for themselves and their children what is essential/necessary.
The Christian HELP food pantry keeps people from not only going hungry, but from choosing between spending money on groceries or rent or utilities instead.

In all of the practical offerings though, a great need still remains for people to have hope which is why we believe so strongly in offering an encouraging word, additional information and resources, and the gift of prayer. It is the enduring spirit of the people and connectedness of a community that empowers you and me, our neighbors, to keep going.
