Verónica Barrell

Entry Coordinator
Verónica was born in Uruguay, South America, and immigrated to the United States with her family when she was in High School. Being an immigrant isn’t always easy, but God has used the experiences and given her a keen sense of seeking out others in need. Verónica has used this “special” gift throughout her life in service with others.
She has been trained and worked in multiple careers during her life’s journey. Her resume includes hospitality management, hospice care, Peace Corps, missionary service. She has been ordained as an Elder in the United Methodist Church, most recently serving the migrant and immigrant Latino community on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. God used a pandemic-induced early retirement to lead Verónica and her sister to Florida on faith to begin a new adventure. Verónica was led to Christian HELP via Community UMC in Casselberry.
She also enjoys using her seamstress skills to provide masks for the community and surgical caps for hospital workers. She also delights in her role as chef, creating healthy meals
with few ingredients.
