Subject: A Leadership Update Reflecting Our Growing Regional Impact
Dear Friend and Partner,
For more than three decades, Christian HELP has served our community with a steadfast commitment to our mission of preventing homelessness. What began as a local effort rooted in Casselberry and Seminole County has grown into an organization with an expanding presence across Central Florida.
Over the last year, we have extended our reach into Orange and Osceola Counties, bringing our programs and services to more individuals and families than ever before. As we look ahead, we are actively planning for continued regional expansion in 2027 and beyond. This growth reflects both the increasing demand for our services and our commitment to ensuring that more communities have access to the support and opportunities we provide.
As our geographic footprint and strategic ambitions continue to grow, the Board of Directors has taken an important step to ensure our leadership structure reflects the scale and direction of our work. Effective September 24, 2026, Britt Johnson’s title will change from Executive Director to President and Chief Executive Officer (President & CEO).
This change is not simply about a title. It reflects the broader scope of leadership required to guide a regional organization with expanding partnerships, increasing operational complexity, and a growing vision for impact. While the role will continue to be accountable to the Board of Directors and responsible for the effective management of the organization, the title of President & CEO more accurately conveys our expectations for the position. We expect this leader to serve not only as the organization’s chief administrator, but also as its chief strategist, ambassador, advocate, and visionary—building relationships across communities, developing sustainable partnerships, securing resources for growth, and leading our organization into its next era.
Our mission remains unchanged. Our commitment to responsible stewardship, measurable impact, and service excellence remains as strong as ever. What is changing is the scale of our opportunity. As we transition from a primarily local organization to one serving communities across the region, we believe this leadership designation better represents who we are becoming and where we are headed.
We are deeply grateful for your partnership, trust, and investment in our work. Because of supporters like you, we are able to pursue bold opportunities that expand our impact while remaining grounded in the values that have guided us for more than 30 years.
With gratitude,
Reginald J. White
Chair, Board of Directors
