Director of Client Services
Ivonne joined Christian Help in December of 2019 as Director of Client Services. She considers herself privileged to be able to serve the Central Florida community. She is enthusiastic about using her management experience and her passion for helping others while pointing them to Jesus.
Ivonne was born in Santiago, Chile but raised in the French speaking province of Quebec, Canada. Ivonne’s upbringing as a first-generation immigrant led to the development of a keen sense of social justice. That upbringing also created a desire to make the world a better place by making a difference in other people’s lives. With that in mind, Ivonne pursued a bachelor's degree in political science with a double minor in economics and German language. She later earned a master’s degree in international studies from Université de Montréal. In 2009, she moved to Florida with her husband, Jonathan and their three children, Jonathan 7, Hendrick 5 and Clara 2.
Prior to joining Christian Help, Ivonne worked at the Orlando Science Center as an educator-presenter and special projects coordinator while doing freelance translation. In 2016, she joined the staff at Northland church where she led their benevolence ministry, LifeHope, for over 2 years.
