Jackie Avery
CFRE Development Director
Born and raised in Africa, Jackie is our resident “Brit” and still to this day has her daily cup of tea to make the world “right.”
Jackie has been with Christian HELP since 2006. She began as a volunteer filling whatever need was present. Before long, a natural tendency for developing relationships led Jackie to create and build the Ministry’s Development Department. Jackie committed to learning everything she could, and not only sat on the local American Fundraising Board, but also pursued the prestigious CFRE certification which she accomplished in 2014 and her CNE certification in 2020.
Jackie has been with Christian HELP since 2006. She began as a volunteer filling whatever need was present. Jackie relocated to South Carolina in 2019 to be closer to her soon to be first grandchild. Jackie now works remotely for Christian HELP as the Employment Coach Team Leader.
Her desire all along has been to witness individuals being blessed by finding their passion and serving in it. This is true in the donor and job seeker world.
Jackie’s latest studies have enabled her to secure a Certificate in Trauma Awareness. Christian HELP is acutely aware of the trauma our community has experienced in the last few years and is committed to serving those in need with excellence and sensitivity.

When not empowering and equipping clients to reach their fullest potential, Jackie volunteers at her Church and enjoys life on her farm.
